The Girls

Here’s the girls – we had so much fun! Shopping, pedicures, sushi, pool, wine – what more could you ask for?? It’s amazing to have friendships that can stand the test of time – and I feel so lucky to have these fabulous women in my life.

VACATION!!

Well, I’m leaving tomorrow for my FIRST girl’s weekend since my daughter was born. I have been so excited about going and then yesterday I started feeling very anxious about leaving my baby. What will she think? Will she be sad? It’s a strange feeling – and I really didn’t expect to feel this way at all. Of course, I will miss my husband too – but it makes it easier that he understands that I AM coming back.

These are the girls I’m visiting – they look like fun right? We all went to junior high/high school together and have kept in touch over the years. Each one of them has a special place in my heart. There is one more girl that’s missing – she couldn’t make it to the wedding – but I promise to post some pictures when I get back. This was in September 2004 – and yes – that’s me in all of my wedding glory :) — the day I married the very best guy on the planet!

And this is just another cutie pic of my baby (toddler) that I took yesterday when she was dipping her graham crackers in the milk – and asking for more.

I’ll be back on Monday – have a great weekend!

Oh the chubby rolls and spit bubbles!

I found another picture that I just love. This was in July of LAST YEAR! I can’t believe how much my sweet little baby has changed! Now she is full of tantrums and crazy antics.

I gave my camera to my friend Denise to take a picture – she should be a photographer don’ t you think??

All booked up!!

Well – I’m excited to say that I am completely booked for weekends through mid September! It has been so incredible how fast things have taken off for my business. I really appreciate all the referrals and kind words from everyone. Sometimes life is such a surprise – taking turns that you never expect.

Which brings me to the picture below. My baby – when she was just minutes old. Obviously she wasn’t a surprise (9 months of carrying her around gave it away), but how she changed my life has been the biggest surprise of all. I feel so fortunate to be able to spend every day with her. I am so grateful for my husband, who works so hard to provide for our family. The time is going so fast – why does it go so fast as you get older????

Anyway – talk about surprises – she doesn’t look too happy about her “surprise entry” into this bright new world does she?

Picture courtesy of my husband or sister in law?? I don’t know, I was passed out somewhere after the C-Section at this point! :)

The twins again!

Soooooo sweet. They are so young and they can hold their own bottles!! I don’t know how mom handles the load – but she always has a smile. They are such a wonderful family!

Pricing

For those of you who “check in” on my blog – just wanted to let you know that I’ve made a couple price adjustments in order to cover my costs and labor. Greeting cards will now start at $35 per pack and Brag Books (Proof Books) will be $50.00. Some of you have received the “new” brag books at a discounted price because I hadn’t officially changed the pricing yet. The new books are bigger – 5×7 in size – with black bordered 4×6 prints. I do a custom cover for each one – so they are a very nice and economical way to purchase multiple prints and show them off to all your friends!

If you’ve done some shopping, you know that my prices are already much lower than most custom/location photographers. I have decided to keep my pricing the same for the remainder of 2007 in appreciation to you – my customers – and to continue building my portfolio. So – book your sessions soon and take advantage of a GREAT DEAL!

Thanks again for your support!
Crystal

More fun in the Park

It’s impossible for me to pick my favorites with this little girl. She is my good friend’s daughter and my camera LOVES her. We went to the park yesterday and ate ice cream and lollipops and changed her clothes a bunch of times – and she was such a good sport, as always. Her mom is always up for anything – THANKS!

Soooo funny! This was my daughter playing outside when I got home yesterday. She was trying to drink the water out of the little pool fountains. She cracks me up!! :)

Here’s another sneak peak at the session from last week. I haven’t finished the gallery yet – the holiday week really put me behind. :( Just thought I would share another cute pic.
